Why we take Route 9 for our company name?
Route 9, formerly linking the U.S Army bases scattered upward
to Khe Sanh Battlefield, cuts east from Savannakhet through a series of drab
towns, ultimately forming the
link between Thailand and Vietnam. The
road ends its Lao journey at the Lao Bao pass, the primary land crossing
between Vietnam and Laos, before heading on to Dong Ha, where it
connects with Vietnam's Highway 1. The Thais have recently shown an
interest in Route 9 as a possible trade corridor across to the
Vietnamese port of Da Nang. And now, Route is the favorite route for
tourists coming from Laos, Thailand and Western countries...
